Stringo, the world’s most loved vehicle moving solution, took part of one of the largest private collector and vintage motoring car shows East of the Mississippi this March, the Amelia Concours d’Elegance by Hagerty, held in Jacksonville, USA.
Commencing on March 03-06 at the Amelia Island Ritz Carlton location—the Amelia Concours was a feast of collectible automobiles, presentations, fan opportunities as well as a premier event for high-end collectors, the RM Sotheby’s Auction. 2022 marking the 25th anniversary of the auction’s association with the motoring event.
The Stringo US team was there in full, to meet potential customers as well as grow the company’s branding in the private collector space, a commercial vertical that has experienced great success in recent years.
“Stringo is of course the go-to solution in the automotive manufacturing and testing space—we’re so embedded that engineers and testers say ‘I need a Stringo’ when they request an automotive vehicle mover. But more and more we see other types of customers realising that we’re the right choice for their vehicle moving needs," explains Jeff Barr, Stringo US Sales Territory Manager. “And the most premium of those customers are the private collectors and automotive museums. They've been buying Stringo machines more and more to solve their needs. They use Stringos to move some of the most valuable cars in the world—one-of-a-kind historic Porsches; museum-quality Ferraris, Rolls Royces and investment class vehicles, you name it,” says Barr. Being at the event, with its premium credentials, was a great place to show off Stringo to the private collector enthusiasts as well as meet potential customers.”
Stringo CEO Nina Thelin couldn’t agree more. “Amelia Concours is a fantastic and it’s so exciting to see us deepening our relationship into one of our important customer classes. We’ve worked with museums like the Henry Ford Automotive Museum, The Volvo Museum in Sweden and others. We really appreciate the trust that they and private collectors put in Stringo to move their beautiful automobiles safely and securely,” states Thelin proudly.
