Stringo’s CMO, Sam Coleman—a speaker who has had held TedX talks, discussed trends in mobility in spaces such at Automotive Testing Expo Stuttgart and others—will discuss how automation is quickly transforming the automotive production space as Tier 1 OEMs retool for optimal cost and labour efficiency, quality delivery and competitiveness, especially in the EV space to take on Chinese competitors. The presentation, entitled “AGVs, AMRs and how the automotive space is being revolutionised by autonomous robotics” will include topics like the Tesla’s unboxed production methodology, the rise of dark factories, how automated robots will replace fixed parts of the assembly line and how their costs will drop in the coming year, making them more and more accessible. “I’m excited to be discussing and sharing knowledge on this subject, especially as Stringo has become more and more involved with Automation projects across the world,” says Coleman of the upcoming presentation. “We’re there to support our great UK distributors Rod Brown Engineering and of course Automechanika is a great space to absorb information as well. You have to be constantly learning and staying curious in our business.”
